Share your experiences as an intercultural spouse and parent
Do you live in an intercultural relationship? Do you and your partner have children? Do you have a moment to share you experiences and help others?
Duo's first online family training group is about to start and we have got similar requests from the participating parents-to-be. The couples would like to hear from you! They would like you to share your experiences about intercultural parenthood, family and relationship. They would like to learn from you.
Imagine you could go back in time and give yourself advice which would benefit your relationship and prepare you for the life changes which come with having a baby.
What would you tell yourself? What would you like to know? What have you found out after becoming a parent? Have you had any surprises related to different family backgrounds, parenting styles, cultures...? Have you had surprises with your own parents and/or your parents-in-law? How is living in Finland as an intercultural family?
How has your relationship changed? What have you learned? What advice would you give to a couple who is about to start the most magical journey of their lives?
You can answer anonymously. Thank you!
